There are a few ways you can make a sale with CAP Retail:
- First, you can scan an item with the barcode scanner.
- You can also search for an item and add it to the cart by selecting it and clicking accept.
- The final way is using the hotkeys for quick touchscreen selection.
Once the items that you want to sell are in the cart, click Pay Now.
Choose the customer’s payment method on this screen. I can enter exact change or select a card payment. Let’s say the customer gave us a $50 bill, so I can click on the $50 button.
A receipt will print, and you can see the change due on the screen. If you want to save paper, you can also toggle the printer on or off from the main screen. This can easily be turned back on during a transaction if a customer wants their receipt printed.
