Founded by two retired military veterans with a passion for good food and serving the community, Richland's Cajun Market is the only grocery store to offer authentic Cajun food in the eastern half of North Carolina.

The small store offers a wide range of Cajun specialties like boudin, smoked pork sausages, stuffed chickens, crawfish, pre-made gumbos, and a myriad of seasonings and spices. 

When the store opened, owners Tammy Heap and Russ Foley were using a legacy point of sale (POS) system that was rapidly aging out. They needed an upgrade, but wanted to ensure the new system would be a great fit for their business in the short and long term. As someone who doesn't slouch on research, Tammy quickly had a list of requirements for the new system.
